so hillaryyy tagged me in that six selfies thing.  It took me a couple days to figure out which ones I wanted to pick, because I’m a weird sort of narcissist hahaha and, um, the last one is kind of cheating because it’s technically 6 pictures on its own, but I put them all together because it made me laugh at how difficult it was for nick and I to get one good photo together.  Also, I’ve learned from this that I like looking to the left and having my face partially obscured.

I tag… anyone who wants to do this!

utteranonymity:

Fun little trick I learned in therapy: validation. When someone is upset, don’t try to fix the problem, point out the cause, or tell them it could be worse. Just validate their emotions. Be like, ‘shit yeah man, that sucks. I’m sorry you’re going through that. I’m here for you.’ That’s literally all you have to do to make them feel better. Thank you and goodnight.

"you say you’re lookin’ for someone to pick you up each time you fall. to gather flowers constantly and to come each time you call, and will love you for your life, and nothin’ more… but it ain’t me, babe."

I really enjoy Adam Scott struggling not to smile at Amy Poehler’s hilarity.
