i just saw a new therapist today and she taught me about breathing to cope with things and trying to think about whether my thoughts are productive or unproductive but now that i’m home and I’ve ruined a 1930s dress by trying to clean it that all goes out the window and i am just sad and want ice cream buckets of pasta

I am pretty sure that I am genuinely happy. Like, seriously, ridiculously, sunbeams shooting out of my fingertips happy. For someone with chronic depression this is slightly unnerving (but exciting!)
